What you'll need
You can choose any yarn you like to crochet this heart. Just to give you an idea of the size, with cotton thread size 10 and crochet hook size 2 mm, the heart is going to be about 4,5 by 4,5 cm (1,77 by 1,77 inches).
You will also need a needle to weave in loose ends and a pair of scissors.
Make a magic ring.
- Round 1: Ch 1, 2 sc, ch 5, 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc, ch 2, 1 tr, ch 2, 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc, ch 5, sc, pull the thread end to tighten the ring, join with sl st in first sc.
- Round 2: Ch 1, sc in same sc, skip next sc, ch 2, in ch-5 sp work (dc, ch 1) 5 times, in each of next 2 ch-2 sp work (dc, ch 1) 2 times, dc in tr, in each of next 2 ch-2 sp work (ch 1, dc) 2 times, in ch-5 sp work (ch 1, dc) 5 times, ch 2, join with sl st in first sc.
- Round 3: Ch 1, sc in sc, ch 1, sc in ch-2 sp, (ch 3, sc in next ch-1sp) 18 times, ch 3, sc in ch-2 sp, ch 1, join with sl st in first sc.
Fasten off and weave in loose ends.
